Open Letter to the church
Dear Beloved Church of Christ, Grace and peace be unto you on this joyous occasion! This year marks a significant milestone for our community as we come together to celebrate the twenty-five-year anniversary of our shared journey in the "House of God." Inspired by the verse from Genesis 28:19, where Jacob called the place Bethel, meaning the "House of God," we reflect on the blessings and growth we've experienced as a congregation.
In these past years, we have witnessed the transformative power of faith and unity. Just as Jacob felt the divine presence and named the place Bethel, we too have sensed the palpable grace of God within our midst. Our collective worship, prayers, and fellowship have fortified our spirits and fostered a sense of belonging in this sacred space we've built together.
Bethel is not merely a physical structure; it is a spiritual haven where hearts converge in devotion, love, and service. Each worship service, every shared moment of laughter and tears, and all the acts of kindness exemplify the essence of Bethel. It is in these moments that we realize we are not just a congregation; we are a family bound by a common purpose—to honor and glorify our Creator.
As we look back on the past year, let us also look forward with hope and anticipation. Bethel is not a static dwelling; it is a dynamic and living testament to our ongoing relationship with God. Like Jacob, who experienced personal transformation at Bethel, let us embrace the continual transformation of our hearts and minds, growing into the individuals God has called us to be.
Together, let us recommit ourselves to the principles that define Bethel—the "House of God." May our love for one another and our shared devotion to God deepen as we embark on another year of worship, service, and fellowship. Let this anniversary serve as a reminder that Bethel is not just a place; it is a sacred journey we undertake together, hand in hand, as we seek to fulfill our calling as the body of Christ.
In the spirit of gratitude and celebration, we thank each member of our beloved congregation for contributing to the rich tapestry of Bethel. May the love of God continue to dwell within us, guiding our steps and illuminating our path as we move forward together in faith.
With love and blessings,

Bethel Church
Bethel Church is a nondenominational church and ministry, legally registered as a faith based organisation under Rwanda Governance Board (RGB). We simply believe that anyone is saved by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ the son of God without our works and then live and experience the eternal life while still here on earth, there no point of being saved and still live a same old life in the new life.We believe that a believer is life witness not mere words. Christ’s death and resurrection gave everyone who believes the right to become a child of God without any blemish or spot.
Nevertheless, we also strongly believe that if a person is saved, there is unavoidable journey of transformation from a human mind to the mind of Christ and this is for the believer’s sake to fully know, understand and experience the predestined eternal life by the Grace of God found in Christ Jesus. We believe that Grace is not a sermon or subject or a certain form of a teaching that sweet to the hearers but rather the life and character of God in those who simply believed in his son Jesus Christ and boast not about works.
